Will I see immediate results doing one hot yoga class per week?

For many of us practicing hot yoga three to five times per week seems impossible.  Unfortunately, there's no other way around it.  The reality is that if you're practicing hot yoga three to fives times per week you will see results.  One time per week is simply not enough.  In many respects some of you may be doing other activities in addition to the one hot yoga class and that's great.  There is always an exeption to the rule.  But when we're talking about doing very minimal activity and only one class per week, we're simply fooling ourselves.
Our bodies need to move.  We need oxygen, nutrients, blood circulation, hormone realease and hormone production and we need to build strength.  And we need to do all of this consistently.  There's one thing we're certain of and that is that your body doesn't lie.  When you're aching or feeling slugish that's your body communicating to you that something is not right.  Many of us ignore the obvious and many times we opt to medicate.  We push ourselves deeper into a whole and when we finally realize what we have done to ourselves we're having to deal a greater struggle.  At that point we've gotten older, heavier and our mindset is not as upbeat.  We've become depressed and we continue to eat more for comfort.  This affects our relationships with our spouses, our children and it affects our personality.
The plain truth is that we give up.  We feel angry at ourselves and many times at the people that love us.  We lose our drive and we find every excuse in the book to justify our lack of willingness to get after it.  Once again, some of us have certain health issues that can prevent us from doing more.  There are exceptions.  But I'm talking about those of us that don't.
So what's the answer?  Only you know that.  There are different techniques you can do such as finding a friend to workout with.  Attend a yoga studio like Pura Vida where there's a community of people that will motivate you to be consistent and work hard.  A community that will support your efforts and inspire you to meet your goals.  You can learn how to manage your time better so you're taking care of yourself.  You can learn more about nutrition and the importance of getting enough sleep and eating better and healthier.  But it all comes down to you.
If you know your health is in trouble, tuffen up and do something about it.  Don't compromise and expect your family to follow along.  That's not fair to them.  You need to be more responsible than that.  If you have children, be a leader for them.  Show them that they can do anything they want and do it by example.  If you have a spouse show up.  Don't drag them through depression and negativity.  Step up to the plate and show some guts.  I don't mean to sound like I'm yelling here, but I'm very passionate about this matter.  I meet lots of people who don't seem to realize how important their health is and how much they're being affected by not doing anything about it.  I have family members who have to roll out of bed to get up in the morning because their spine is in such bad shape.  I have my own Hot Yoga Studio, do you realize how frustrating this is?  Forget about it!
In closing, I'd like to say that you need to make a decision and you need to stick to it.  A friend of mine once said that at the end of the day, "You are where you are because of you."  We all take some beatings in life and we're all get nocked on our butts.  No doubt about it.  It's up to you if you want to get up again.

To your health & success,
