When you practice hot yoga regularly, you will benefit from a positive boost in mood and lower rates of depression. Through the process of a hot yoga practice your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins act as a sedative. They interact with your brain receptors and reduce your perception of pain. Pretty cool, right? Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in your body. Similar to that of morphine. (That's a natural high my friend!)
