What have we learned?
Well, so far we discovered that it's better to start your juice cleanse on a thursday versus a monday. This is due to the first few days causing you to be a bit cranky. Secondly, the first four days are the tuffest. So get past your four days & then you start to feel like, wow I can do this. Third, initially, you get a few headaches. This can due to cutting away cafine, or if you've been suffering from sinus issues, muscle tension in the neck or even a common cold (all of which can cause inflamation). The good news is that carrots which are part of the juice cleanse will help with inflamation in the body as well as blood pressure. Ginger, another part of the cleanse will also help reduce inflamation & it will help open circulation in the body. Add hot yoga to the mix & sweating will open up the pores through the skin lowering your blood pressure, promoting circulation & reducing inflamation. Lastly, what we've learned most of all is that if your partners at home aren't supportive of what you're trying to achieve, it becomes that much harder to accomplish.
