Ask any of the people in these pictures what it takes to get motivated and they'll tell you "practice, practice, practice!" You may be saying; "Yeah, but how do I get started?" Or you may be saying; "Yeah, but look at how great of shape they're in." And others will say; "If only I had the time." "I'm just so exhausted after work and then the kids take all my time." Some of you will think, easy for them. "That's probably all they do is work out." And then you'll look at the schedule and say; "Those hours just don't work for me." Besides, it's just too expensive." Can you find any motivation in these statements? I can't.

How to get started. Go stand in front of your mirror and take a look at yourself. What do you see? Are you happy? Do you like what you see? If you could change anything about your body, what would it be? Go a little deeper with your thoughts. Do you feel light and energetic or are you constantly feeling sluggish? Do you feel mentally strong? Or do you feel depressed and uncertain? Keep going. Explore even deeper. Are you loving to your spouse? What about your kids? Are you playing with them and guiding them through life with a strong and positive attitude? Or are you always frustrated and yelling at them? If you can't do it for yourself, can you do it for them? Would you do it for them? This is how you start. By being brutally honest with yourself. By admitting to what you're doing that's causing you pain and making you unhealthy. Then you need to give it importance, give yourself importance. What would it look like if you were able to make those changes you wished for? How would it change your life? Your relationship with your spouse and children? How would you feel?
Sharing these photos isn't to intimidate you. We're sharing them to inspire you. These are regular people whose photos weren't air brushed. These are hard working people just like you and I. They hold full time jobs. They have struggles and triumphs with their children much like the rest of us. Their schedules are also very busy. They have to take time to drive to Pura Vida and they have to take time out of their lives to be where they are. But if you ask them how they feel about it, they'll say; "Man, I just need my yoga practice." "After a long day or even having an awesome day, I know I'll feel a million times better after a strong class."

Expense. I'll say this and I say it with confidence. Hands down, we are the best there is. Our approach to yoga is to use it to be at our very best. Our practice is about each individual. You work hard, you get results. You take it easy, you get very little. We don't really fuzz too much. Someone once said to me that they had heard we were more traditional than most studios. That couldn't be further from the truth. I don't even use sanskrit words. Nothing against it. But, I just want to focus on helping you kick ass. Pardon my language, but lets face it. We want something that's gonna work and we want to see it! If you're gonna invest in your health, lets make it worth while. Simple. I've said this before, I'll say it again. Most of us spend more money eating out then we do on our health. That's your choice.
In closing, I'd like to remind you that if you let your health deteriorate you'll eventually get sick and that will be far more expensive then anything else. Both monetarily and spiritually. It's like the oxygen mask on a plane. You're suppose to use it on yourself first then help everyone else. Get committed and get your butt to Pura Vida. We can help. See you soon.
To your health & success,
Marco Gamez
