What's holding you back?

What may be holding you back
may be due to what you continue to do.
Do you feel like every Monday of the week is always the same?  Do you tell yourself on Wednesdays that your week is halfway done?  When someone asks you on Friday how you’re doing, do you respond by saying “It’s Friday!”?
How many times have you told yourself or worst announced to others that starting Monday, you are going to begin your diet/workout program?  How many projects around your home are still waiting to get done?  Are your kids still waiting for you to fulfill a promise you made to them long ago?
Way to kill the spirit right?  Hang in there.  Listen, we all have these things happen to us, you’re not alone.  What happens many times is that we all fall into routines that get us by, instead of proving us with forward progression.  And a big part of that is that we continue to do the same things over and over again.  We need change absolutely, but first we need to be willing to reevaluate ourselves.
For example; if you were to gather that you spend a total of 5 hours per week watching television, what could you be doing with your family instead?  Or how much could you get done in your business instead?  Multiply the 5 hours by 52 weeks and you get 260 hours per year.  That’s a total of ten days.  Do you see where when I’m going with this?  Here’s another example.  If you wake up every day and you tell yourself how difficult everything is and how people just don’t get you.  You complain about every incident that happens to you.  You constantly tell yourself and others that you just can’t do it, whatever it is.  What do you think happens to you mentally and spiritually?  How do you think that affects the people who are around you and love you?
Find whatever it is that’s holding you back and get rid of it!  Be honest with yourself and change it.  It may be a lot more simple than you think.  It may be as simple as allocating your time to more productive things like your family.  If you’ve given up on yourself, do it for those you love and love you.  Trust me, they’ll get behind you and support you.  But don’t bullshit.  Stop being a victim.  Make a choice and stick with it.  The moment you discover you can make changes, you’ll never stop.  You’ll always look to better yourself.  You don’t want to sit back some day and say, “Man, life just past me by.”  Instead, look forward to saying “I did everything I could in life and I’m proud of that.”  “I lived a great life!”
